We recently visited David Griffen in his rustic kitchen studio in North Cornwall, to photograph a range of pasties and other products which we were yet to get photos of...

We previously worked with David Griffen in March 2015 to shoot the main product photos (such as the traditional steak pasty). These photographs are used in all our promotion both online and in print, such as business cards, slot signs and social media. Shortly after we met David, he was crowned with the prestigious 'Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year' for 2015.

We'll be honest - pasties are not the most photogenic food! After brainstorming, David and Fiona came up with an idea - surrounding the pasty with the fresh ingredients which go into the product. As most pasties look the same on the outside, this was a great way to distinguish between the different fillings for each product. It also brings some colour into the photos!
