It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Mark Norton, Managing Director of Prima Bakeries Group, following a brief illness.
Prima Bakeries groups acquires Furniss of Cornwall!
We are delighted to announce the Prima Bakeries group's acquisition of the iconic biscuit manufacturer, Furniss of Cornwall!
Furniss of Cornwall will now operate under the Prima Bakeries Group (incorporating Prima and Cornish Premier) with all staff joining the Employee Ownership Trust.
CPP Help Nansledan School Make Cornish Pasties With The CPA
Jason headed to Nansledan School yesterday along with the CPA to help teach pupils in Year 4 how to make Cornish Pasties. The children made and crimped the Cornish Pasties (see photos!) and then the canteen baked them for the children to take them home.

A massive congratulations to Leigh Rossin who completed the London Marathon yesterday to raise money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
Runners Up at the Cornwall Manufacturers Awards 2024!
Last week the CPP team went to the Cornwall Manufacturers Awards, where we got Runner Up in the Small Manufacturer Award! Thank you to the Cornwall Manufacturing Group for the recognition and a great night - we had a lot of fun! Well done to all the other businesses that won awards 👏
A total of £20,000 raised this Cornish Pasty Week!
Another year, another successful Cornish Pasty Week! This year, all businesses involved raised an incredible £20,000 for Cornish Pasty Community Fund. We raised £1,500 towards this - thank you to everyone who visited us during the week!

The Prima Bakeries Group, incorporating both Prima Bakeries and Cornish Premier Pasties , will be transitioning into an employee-owned business. As a group, we are currently the fourth-largest producer of Cornish Pasties in the world and the largest locally owned producer in Cornwall.
Leigh Is Running The London Marathon 2024 For SSAFA
Leigh Rossin has taken on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon this year, fundraising for SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity. SSAFA help our armed forces and their families.

Cornish Premier Pasties staff are doing Movember! Please support our staff as they endeavour to grow their moustaches over the coming month. Charitable donations are welcomed - if you’d like to donate, you can do so in our shop.

We are very pleased to have been shortlisted in the Made In The South West Awards 2023 from Insider Media! We are up for not one but two awards - the Food & Drink award, alongside the Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m) Award.
Solar Powered Pasties ☀️
With the support of our friends at Ignition Credit in Truro, we are the proud new owners of 320 solar panels. Installed by Bristol based Solarsense, these are part of a 131.2kw system that will save over 50 tonnes of CO2 each year.
