A total of £20,000 raised this Cornish Pasty Week!
Another year, another successful Cornish Pasty Week!
This year, all businesses involved raised an incredible £20,000 for Cornish Pasty Community Fund.
Here at Cornish Premier Pasties, we pledged to donate 5p from every pasty sold during the week - amounting to an incredible £1,500 towards the total amount. Thank you to everyone who bought pasties from us during the week - not only did you get to enjoy a delicious lunch, but you also helped children in Cornish schools get cooking!
The initiative this year was to encourage cookery within Cornish Schools.
“Funds raised during Cornish Pasty Week will provide schools across Cornwall and Scilly with the resources they need to offer children regular cooking activities, whether that is to buy equipment and ingredients or to run cooking clubs or other fun food initiatives. Professional pasty makers will also host sessions in schools teaching children how to make Cornish pasties.” - Cornish Pasty Association
